Who we are
The Audio Library of the West (ALoW) is a community-centered online library for field recording and a hub for experimental sound art. We are building on a collection of sounds of the American West to be used by creative and curious minds around the world.
Our collections reflect the humans, animals, and objects that populate the West. Those with us now and the memories of those that have left us.

In 2025 ALoW will begin accepting submissions for the library and commissioning new recordings and art to further our goal of recording the West.
